Congratulations to both of you on your engagement. Your wedding is
the most important event you will ever have to organise. Why not let us help.

Our management team & staff are experienced in assisting you
to make your day perfect. A wedding designed to meet your requirements &
expectations. Here at the Rufford Arms Hotel we are renowned for our personal
& friendly service.

We can create a wedding package to suit both your taste & your
pocket.

Inside this pack you will find Chef’s suggested menus. However if
you have something specific in mind that is not within the package we would be
more than happy to advise on availability & cost of your desired menu.

Our wedding package price includes:

~ Room hire

~ Wedding cake base & knife

~ Linen napkins & table cloths

~ Master of ceremonies (if required) 

We can cater from *45 to 60 guests for a formal wedding breakfast
(day time) & from *100 to 140 for evening functions.

Our hotel also provides comfortable overnight accommodation for
your guests should they require it. All rooms are well appointed with courtesy
tray, TV, telephones & en-suite facilities.

Speeches & Toasts

 

The Best Man

Responsible for the opening
and closing of the speeches.

He begins by introducing each speaker in turn (The master of
ceremonies can also perform this task if preferred)

 

The Bride’s Father

Welcomes all of the guests and proposes a toast to the bride and
groom.

 

The Groom

Replies to the Bride’s Fathers speech, thanks guests for coming
and expresses how he will look after his new wife. The groom proposes a toast
to the bridesmaids.

 

The Best Man

He replies to the groom on behalf of the bridesmaids and may also
read out cards and greetings from absent friends and relatives.

To close, he proposes a
toast to the parents.

 

Making a Booking

If you would like to discuss your wedding arrangements, please
contact Sue, who will be more than happy to assist you. We will be happy to
advise on availability & also help tailor-make your package to suit your
needs.

 

Once you have decided on a date, you will need to pay a £200
deposit. This deposit secures the reservation for you. Deposits are not
refundable or transferable.

 

Before the wedding, we will invite you in to discuss the
arrangements more fully.

A confirmation letter will be sent to you detailing all your
requirements along with an estimate of the final bill.

 

All bills are payable in full six weeks prior to
the wedding
.

 

 

Cancellations

In the unlikely event of you cancelling your function the
following will apply:

More than 6 months’ notice of cancellation loss of deposit only

Less than 6 months’ notice of cancellation 50% of the final
estimated bill will be due.

Less than 3 months’ notice of cancellation 100% of the estimated
final balance will be due.

Please be advised we do recommend you take out insurance against
cancellation.
