We have been coming to the Rufford Arms since the restaurant opened some years ago.
Never once have my family or I had a poor meal or sloppy service in over 15 visits.
The staff are nothing short of exemplorary and the food is always piping hot and fresh.
They serve some of the best wines at very affordable prices.
Quite frankly its a credit to have a restaurant of this standard in West Lancashire my home town.
I just want to keep it to myself and not let others in on the best kept secret in Lancashire!!!!

Having just returned from a relaxing weekend we can't wait to re-book and again enjoy the hospitalilty and fine cooking at the Rufford Arms. All staff are polite and helpful, our room and bathroom was spotless. Superb value for money.

We enjoyed a christmas meal last year and where pleasantly supprised at the attention we recieved from all your well mannerd and attentive staff food was excellent We have since been back on numerous occations the last being on friday 31st july as usual the food was fabulous the entertainment very very good the evening outstanding we tell everyone we meet about you will be back very soon regards

We have visited the Rufford Arms for many years now to enjoy just a meal out for two and to celebrate Anniversaries, Birthdays Christmas etc. The food has always been excellent, they will give you exactly what you ask for. The staff are great both friendly and attentive.
Congratulations to Sue and her team for providing one of the best restaurants around.

We have been coming to the Rufford Arms now for over 8 years now,as a couple and with friends and family,for just a lunch down to celebrating birthdays and anniversaries.Every visit has been a wonderful occasion,Sue and her staff cannot be faulted,the staff are always very friendly and cheerful,the restaurant is very relaxing and comfortable,and the food,well.... it is perfection every time,so much so that you dont want your meal to end you are enjoying so much.As for the hotel side i have not had the privelege of staying as i only live local,BUT....at the price i think we have to do it! Have stayed over with a meal for 2 and also been for a Christmas evening meal with a group of friends. Both times the service has been attentive and the food fabulous.
